The Lookout Project
About
The Lookout Project aims to equip college students to reduce overdose death in their community through advocating for criminal justice reform and providing education and life saving overdose prevention supplies to the Washtenaw community.
TLP envisions a future in which community members are equipped to respond to an overdose and individuals exiting incarceration are no more likely to die of overdose death than the general population.
Members of The Lookout Project vow to fight the opioid epidemic by increasing access to community overdose prevention information, distributing our free Opioid Overdose Response Kits, and working with local organizations to educate the U-M campus and community at large about how to inspire rehabilitation instead of criminalization.
Join TLP to to fight the opioid crisis, end the stigma surrounding substance use disorders, and save lives!
